The d&b audiotechnik KSL-SUB is a flyable cardioid subwoofer for the KSL System, supplementing KSL8 and KSL12 cabinets. Its actively driven 2 way bass reflex design houses three long excursion neodymium 15 inch drivers, two facing front and one to the rear on separate amplifier channels, so the cardioid pattern reduces energy behind the system.
