The VCM38 has reached end of sale as of January 2024. Yealink's recommended current replacements are the CM20 and CM50 ceiling microphones. Contact us for current availability or a replacement recommendation.
A single VCM38 unit covers up to 40 square metres, and up to 8 units can be used together in one system for wide coverage of oversized conference rooms.
It uses Beamforming technology combined with Voice Activity Detection to automatically locate and optimize voice pickup for whoever is speaking, across its 8 built-in microphones.
It supports PoE for simple single-cable deployment, and can be mounted directly on the ceiling or with an included telescopic rod adjustable between 30 and 60cm, with an installation height of around 2.5m recommended.
It connects via a standard Ethernet cable to the video conferencing system or a Yealink UVC series camera, with PoE providing both data and power over the same cable.
