The GLXD2+ is a digital wireless handheld transmitter that operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, which gives it two frequency bands to work in and is a key difference from the earlier single-band GLX-D.
The GLXD2+/B58 uses the Beta 58A supercardioid dynamic vocal capsule, which focuses on the singer and rejects off-axis sound for high gain before feedback.
The rechargeable battery lasts about 12 hours per charge, up from about 11 hours on the previous GLX-D version. A 15 minute quick charge gives roughly 1.5 hours of use.
Indoors the range is typically up to 30 m (100 ft), with a maximum of about 60 m (200 ft) in ideal conditions. Outdoors it is typically up to 20 m (65 ft), with a maximum of about 50 m (165 ft).
It works with any GLX-D+ Dual Band receiver. This listing is the Z3 version, part number GLXD2-PLUS-B58-Z3, for 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz operation.
