DuraPlex is IP57 dust-resistant and waterproof rated, with a molded ABS housing. Its 1.6 mm Shure Plex cable has a dual redundant ground that doubles as a secondary shield, is immune to memory effect and kinks, and can be painted with typical theater paints, pens and polishes.
It has a MEMS omnidirectional capsule, a 20 Hz to 20 kHz response, sensitivity of -42.5 dBV (7.5 mV RMS) at 1 kHz, 31 dB SPL-A self-noise, 63 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 132 dB maximum SPL and 101 dB dynamic range. The included Presence Cap adds a 3 to 4 dB boost near 10 kHz.
