The ADX2/K8N-G57 uses the KSM8 Dualdyne dynamic cardioid capsule in a nickel finish, a dual-diaphragm dynamic design that reduces proximity effect compared to a traditional single-diaphragm dynamic mic.
The ADX2/K8N-G57 operates on the G57 band, 470 to 616 MHz, with AES 256 encrypted transmission and ShowLink remote control.
The KSM8 Dualdyne capsule on the ADX2/K8N-G57 uses two diaphragms to cancel out the bass boost normally caused by singing close to a dynamic mic, giving more consistent tone as a vocalist moves toward and away from the mic.
The ADX2/K8N-G57 runs for up to 9 hours on the SB920A rechargeable lithium-ion battery at 10 mW RF output power.
The K8N designation denotes the nickel finish KSM8 Dualdyne capsule; the equivalent black finish version is sold as the K8B, both fitting the same Axient Digital ADX2 transmitter body.
