The A89MW-KIT's Lyre suspension provides up to 25 dB of isolation against handling and cable-borne noise, while the windshield basket and windjammer together attenuate up to 38 dB of wind noise, matching the isolation performance of Shure's other A89-series kits.

Yes. Shure sells the A89MW-JMR as a standalone replacement windjammer sized for the VP89M, so the fur cover can be replaced on its own without buying the full suspension and windshield kit again.
