When loaded with a low-impedance microphone input of 800 ohms or more, the Shure A15HP rolls off at 12 dB per octave below 100 Hz. Loaded at 150 ohms, the rolloff is 3 dB at 100 Hz, with output flat above that point to within 0.5 dB at 1 kHz.
The Shure A15HP has a female XLR input and male XLR output, is EIA rated at 150 ohms impedance, and has maximum distortion of 2.5 percent at 100 mV open circuit voltage.
The Shure A15HP measures 19 mm (0.75 in) in diameter and 114 mm (4.5 in) long, housed in a fully magnetically shielded steel body with a gray enamel finish.
