Bose A01682-0100: Black Replacement Grille Pair for DesignMax DM2C-LP Low Profile Ceiling Speakers
The Bose A01682-0100 is a genuine Bose Professional accessory grille pair that lets DesignMax DM2C-LP low profile ceiling speakers, which ship in white, be finished in black to match darker ceiling and interior designs. The DM2C-LP's shallow backcan makes it suited to low plenum spaces where a black grille often better matches dropped ceiling tiles. Distributed in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE and GCC by Trianze Tech.

Yes, the A01682-0100 is a factory matched black grille pair designed specifically for the Bose DesignMax DM2C-LP low profile ceiling loudspeaker.
The DM2C-LP uses a shallower low profile backcan for plenum-restricted ceilings compared to a standard DM2C. The A01682-0100 grille is matched specifically to the DM2C-LP's enclosure and is not interchangeable with grilles for other DesignMax models.
The A01682-0100 ships as a pair, containing two black grilles, enough to convert one stereo pair of DM2C-LP ceiling speakers to black.
No, the A01682-0100 is a cosmetic accessory only. It does not alter the DM2C-LP's frequency response, coverage pattern or power handling, and is designed to be acoustically transparent like the original white grille.
The Bose black grille pair for the DesignMax DM2C-LP is part number A01682-0100.
