The Allen & Heath DX88-P provides 8 inputs and 8 outputs on Phoenix / Euroblock connectors for fixed installations, and is an easy way to add local or remote expansion to AHM audio matrix processors. It is a 96 kHz DX expander for placing 8 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs wherever extra analog audio is needed, up to 100 m from the mixer. It connects over a single Cat5e cable to the mixer or an upstream DX expander on the DX A port, with a DX B port for daisy chaining to a downstream expander.
