The Allen & Heath DX012 is a remote output expander in a small 1U build, adding 12 XLR outputs that can be analog or AES digital to SQ, Avantis and dLive mixers and the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. It suits uses such as feeding in ear monitoring systems or amplifier racks, in portable and permanent installations. A single Cat5e cable connects it to a dLive surface or MixRack, AHM-64, Avantis or SQ mixer, or to an upstream DX expander through a secure EtherCon port. A second locking EtherCon port gives a redundant connection, and Cascade daisy chaining feeds up to 2 downstream DX expanders on each port.
